If you’ve been looking for the perfect small city dog, here’s your chance to take your pick. We have eight small dogs of all different breeds waiting for their forever homes at our Boston shelter. Please help us find homes for these amazing pups! We have a lot of small dogs in our shelter and we need your help to get the word out about them! How can you resist these adorable little faces?
Baby Girl is a 2 year old Pekingese who came to us after being found as a stray. We don’t know much about her past, but we have found her to be a very sweet, calm little lady. Baby Girl is a bit nervous and can be overwhelmed by new situations, so a quiet home would likely be best for her. She could live with another dog as long as that dog is not to pushy and will respect her when she wants to be left alone. Baby Girl loves human attention and will lean into you for petting!
Jordan is a 3 year old Yorkie who came to us because his owners had no time to care for him. He is a young, active dog who wound enjoy an active family. Jordan does well with other dogs, but we are not sure about cats or children. If your looking for a fun, active little dog who enjoys playing fetch, Jordan just might be your guy!
Tulsa is a 5 year old female Chihuahua mix who came to us all the way from California to find a home. This sweet girl loves being pet and sitting in your lap! Sometimes she gets so excited to see people that she submissive pee’s a little. Tulsa has gone to our daily dog playgroups and does well with other calm dogs that aren’t to pushy with her. A very active, playful dog would likely be too overwhelming for her. If you are looking for a sweet, quiet lap dog, then Tulsa is your girl!
Violet is a 3 year old Lhasa Apso. She is incredibly sweet and gets along well with other dogs. Violet loves to sit in your lap and be spoiled.
